Women's Soccer Team Defeats East Stroudsburg 1-0

BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team beat East Stroudsburg 1-0 on Wednesday night.

Despite being out shot 9-4 in the first half, Ashley Brucker (Blairstown, NJ/North Warren) managed a goal at the 27-minute mark. Both teams then went scoreless in the second half giving the Huskies the 1-0 win.

Goalkeeper Frances Nicoletti (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield) had eight saves for the Huskies.

Bloomsburg moves to 5-1, 3-1 PSAC, on the season and will play at Clarion University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
